Qualification Overview
The purpose of this FAQ Level 4 Diploma in Adult Care is to equip learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to work in a senior role with adults in a care setting.
The qualification prepares learners to manage complex situations found in Adult Care, to have responsibility for assessing performance and quality of care delivery, and to give advice and guidance to service users of adult care services, as well as being able to provide coaching and mentoring to their colleagues. This qualification is suitable for learners who may work in a variety of settings in adult social care, including but not limited to residential care, domiciliary care or day centres.
This qualification has been approved for use by Skills for Care.
