We are a forward-thinking, learner-centric and customer-focused awarding and end-point assessment organisation, committed to excellence.
As an awarding organisation we create, quality assure and certificate qualifications across sectors including pre-hospital care, aviation, mental health, and education and training.
As an end-point assessment organisation, we are recognised to delivery high-quality apprenticeship end-point assessments for employers and training providers in England.

Senior Leadership Team
Our senior leadership team leads FutureQuals’ strategic direction and operations, supported further by our qualification development, quality assurance, customer support, and finance teams, alongside a network of independent external quality assurers and subject matter experts.
Chris Young
Chief Executive Officer
Chris leads the organisation’s strategy and growth, working with partners and regulators to deliver high-quality, inclusive qualifications. He is focused on innovation, sector impact and ensuring learners achieve their full potential.
Lisa Young
Finance Director & Company Secretary
Lisa leads financial strategy and governance, ensuring strong control, transparency and sustainable growth. She oversees reporting, compliance and organisational risk, working with the Board to support confident, informed decision-making.
Simon Stevens
Chief Operating Officer
Simon leads awarding and compliance, ensuring the organisation meets all regulatory requirements. As the Responsible Officer and Accountable Officer, he holds overall accountability for regulatory oversight. He drives quality, risk and audit activity, supporting a strong culture of integrity and continuous improvement.
Rebecca Lenton
Head of Qualifications
Becky leads the development and review of qualifications, ensuring they remain relevant, compliant and industry-focused. Working closely with stakeholders, she delivers products that meet the needs of learners, centres and employers, supporting progression and real-world impact.
Nicki Harries
Head of Quality Assurance
Nicki leads quality assurance across all qualifications and assessments, ensuring robust standards, compliance and consistency. She oversees QA strategy, monitoring and improvement, using data to strengthen outcomes. Nicki plays a key role in protecting the integrity and reputation of the organisation’s qualifications.
Karina Hull
Head of Customer Experience
Karina leads customer engagement and growth, building strong partnerships with centres and stakeholders. She drives new centre onboarding, promotes services, and uses customer insight to shape products and improve delivery. With a clear focus on responsiveness and value, Karina ensures a high-quality experience that supports both retention and expansion.

2004 Gained Ofqual recognition
2005 Approved our first centre and issued our first certificate
2007 Rebranded to Future (Awards and Qualifications) Ltd
2011 Offering qualifications accross multiple sectors
2015 Gained the NHS contract to provide Clinical and Driving qualifications and launched our CERAD™ (Certificate in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving) course
2016 Launched our DERADI® (Diploma in Emergency Response Ambulance Driving Instruction) Course (Renewed in 2024)
2017 Approved as an End-Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) and began offering Functional Skills
2021 Launched our First Responder on Scene (FROS®) and Mental Health suites
2022 Finalist in the FAB Awards Multi Standards EPAO of the Year (SME)
2024 Celebrated the 5,000th apprentice completing their EPA with us
2024 Assessed our first Air Traffic Control apprenticeships taking a new step into the Aviation sector
2024 Nominated in two categories at the FAB Awards in AO/employer and AO/provider relationship of the year
