Ambulance Service – Driving

Future ambulance driving qualifications have been developed and regulated to meet the core requirements of NHS Ambulance Trusts, Independent Ambulance Services and the Voluntary Aid Societies for learners working or intending to work in patient transport and emergency and urgent care.

A unique approach to learning

Developed in partnership with the NHS Ambulance Service Driver Training Advisory Group (DTAG)

Developed in partnership with the NHS Ambulance Service Driver Training Advisory Group (DTAG), these qualifications meet the requirement for ambulance service drivers to claim exemptions under the road traffic act and to operate to the specification of the high speed driver training regulations of the Department for Transport.

This suite of qualifications include the newly regulated diploma for emergency response ambulance driving instructors.
