Qualifications in Northern Ireland

Qualifications that are developed and delivered by recognised awarding bodies are regulated to be offered in Northern Ireland through the Council for Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment, CCEA Regulation.

CCEA Regulation are responsible for the regulation of qualifications taken by learners in Northern Ireland and for the standard to which qualifications are awarded.

Access to qualifications approved in Northern Ireland can be found through the Ofqual Register.

Qualifications that are approved by CCEA Regulation will be eligible for funding through the Department for the Economy.
