Qualifications in Wales

Qualifications that are developed and delivered by recognised awarding bodies are regulated to be offered in Wales through Qualification Wales.

Qualification Wales are funded by the Welsh Government and have autonomy over the qualifications offered in Wales and the standard to which qualifications are awarded.

Access to qualifications approved or designated (funded) in Wales can be found through the Qualification in Wales (QiW) Register here.

Qualifications that are approved or designated by Qualifications Wales will be eligible for funding by a Local Authority or by Welsh Government.
