Qualification Overview
The purpose of the FAQ Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and Automated External Defibrillation: Adults (RQF) is to provide Learners with the skills, knowledge and understanding required to perform basic life support for adult casualties, including the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
This qualification is aimed at members of the public, first responders, and those with a duty to respond (e.g., lifeguards, first aiders).
