The purpose of the Level 2 Certificate in Aviation Operations on the Ground (Knowledge) is to provide the learner with the skills, knowledge and understanding relevant to working in aviation operations on the ground.
It gives the learner the opportunity to:
• Know how to prevent and minimise airside risks and hazards
• Understand how to contribute to airport safety
• Understand procedures which minimise threats to security
• Be able to carry out effective aviation communications
